Thumb me down if you think so :)

I think both are durable, but with the Lumia you'll see the damage a lot less because the poly-carbonate will flex more and the aluminum will make dings glaringly obvious. IMO

Many things are more durable than the iPhone, even things that are known to be fragile; heck, some break just being looked at wrong. I can't think of a Nokia that wouldn't be more durable.

No doubt, that.
But i would really love to see Nokia bring something about 7-9 mm slim phone without compromising the on build, not that i don't like what they are making.

Well they have had a few slim ones. My 5310 is TINY. But a thinner smartphone wouldn't be bad.
That said, it can be nice having some thickness, if only for comfort. You thin and it digs into the hand

Oh, i remember that phone. Xpressmusic to be precise.
Yeah, that's slim but that has got keypads on it...and not a touchscreened device.
Wanted to have that one before but i went for the 5530...which i'm using now as well. Boy, 5310 was a slim phone for that time...it still should be.

I dropped my Nokia 808 PureView 4' onto a hard floor at work a couple of days ago, picked it up and kept things moving without a thought that any damage could have occurred...kind of similar to the actress in the video.

What's up with that, hitting that poor teddy bear in the side of the head with a phone.

I wish Nokia came out with a 4.3 inch diagonal high def screen 820 sister phone because then nokia would have 2 smart phones with a high def screen intstead of 1 the the nokia lumia 920

No need to compare iPhone with Lumia 820,,,,,,.....use Nokia 1100..i am sure.....it will be a clear winner...
Thumbs me down if you don't think so....

I dropped my Nokia Lumia 820 whilst on the underground the other day. Screen is cracked and I can no longer use the phone.
So from my experience that advert is a lie
