Screenshot confirms Android 5.1.1 is getting pushed out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Russia

A screenshot in Russian seems to confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910C) is in the process of being updated to Android 5.1.1 in Russia. So far, no changelist for the update has been spotted, although we should see the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements. Last month, the phablet was seen going through the AnTuTu benchmark site with Android 5.1.1 in tow.

Even if the Galaxy Note 4 is receiving Android 5.1.1 in Russia, it might be some time before the update is pushed out by carriers in the U.S. and Europe. The mobile operators will be conducting their own testing before giving the green light to the update.

The Android 5.1.1 update is the second for the Note 4, which originally launched with Android 4.4 pre-installed. Earlier this year, the model started receiving the Android 5.0 update.

Thanks for the tip!

The memory leak has been fixed. Was hoping for the theme support like the s6. But alas!!!

Are you sure about that? It wasn't fixed on the S6 and the 5.1.1 update actually made it worse on my S5.

I have been using Samsung lollipop 5.0.2 on several devices without issue. Pretty sweet when playing implosion on them.

SM-N910C is like best version of Note 4, it has all (I guess) frequencies at&t and t mobile needs, has exynos 5433 SOC (which scores much better than snapdragon on Geekbench and anandtech recommends this version too), you get carrier free (unlocked + no bloatware), and unlocked boot loader (not as at&t's note 4 where you can't flash custom ROM). And looks like get updates first too.

Definitely. Exynos Note 4 is still the best phablet out there.
