Microsoft Edge for Android update adds support for eBooks, new sign in options

Microsoft's Android browser, Edge recently received an important update that added a handful of new features and fixed some of the issues like extremely slow page load time and stability problems.

Just like the desktop version, the Android app now allows users to read eBooks on the go as long as they are downloaded from Microsoft Store. Also, bookmarks, annotation, and highlights are now available for Edge for Android.

Furthermore, Edge for Android users can now sign in with a school or work account and, according to Microsoft, favorites and password syncing will be added in a future update.

Last but not least, the developers have added a new option for adults with Microsoft family accounts, which enables them to block or allow websites for their children.

The new update is already available for download via Google Play Store and includes some under the hood performance improvements as well, so make sure to update your Edge for Android app to benefit from all these changes.
