HTC U Life 11 to land later this year with 5.2-inch 1080p screen, SD-630 chipset?
Last month, we told you that HTC was prepping a mid-range handset code-named the HTC Ocean Life. This morning, more speculation about the device has leaked, including the alleged  name of the phone. Reportedly dubbed the HTC U11 Life, the mid-range model will be equipped with a 5.2-inch display carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That compares to the 5.5-inch, 1440 x 2560 resolution display that rocks the HTC U11. While initial reports called for the Snapdragon 660 SoC to power the model, it now seems likely that the Snapdragon 630 will be found under the hood. This chipset comes with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 508 GPU.

The 32GB of native storage available on the phone, can be enhanced by the additional 2TB storage capacity available on the handset's microSD slot. A front-facing fingerprint scanner is found embedded in the unit's home button, and Edge Sense will return. The latter allows you to squeeze both sides of the device in order to open apps, enable/disable features, and more. The 16MP rear-facing camera offers phase-detection auto-focus, and a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper will allow you to indulge in your selfie fantasies.

The unit will come with HTC USonic earbuds with active noise cancellation. These ear buds do a great job at shutting out the outside world so it is just you and your music. And with an IP67 certification rating, the phone will be able to handle a submersion to as deep as 3.2 feet, for as long as 30-minutes, and emerge unscathed.

The HTC U11 Life will supposedly be available through T-Mobile in the U.S., and unlocked from HTC's website. For now, we await HTC's official unveiling of the model which should be in the near future.
