Best new Android and iPhone apps (mid-late April)

Ah, app stores... the never-ending wells that contain all we need to enrich our smartphone experience. And they keep getting new apps day in and day out. How is one to keep track of all the new software? Well, it's not physically possible, unless you devote your life to it. But hey, it's always good to check out a "new app highlights" pick, right? Yep — and we've got one right here.

This week around, we've got Gorillaz new AR app, an awesome news-skimming app for those that don't have time to read, Boomerang's own app to view classic cartoons with, a couple of Android UI augmentations, and more. Check them all out below and download the ones you fancy. And hey, if we missed a brand-new app that happens to be awesome — do let us know!

Volume Notification is unnecessary for LineageOS users as a Volume Panel Quick Setting tile is baked into the OS.

Oh, but it's there - it's the last one of the 7 iPhone apps - you have to click for the appropriate section though. If you're on a smartphone (I'm going for a walk on the wild side on this, guessing that it's probably some kind of android phone) there's a slightly yellow background for the text that says you should click to reveal the remaining 6 images. There's even two more pretty girl pix in there for you, now how about that for a complete game changer?

Looks like I owe PA an apology lol. They should have started their list with this one.
