If you adjust for inflation. It would be the Motorola Ultra-Tac Elite.

iPhone 13 Pro 256GB that have been using for 17 months now, and plan to use for at least another 7 months.

I would say has been worth the $1099 I paid.

Having had over 6 Samsung flagship, the S7 Edge being one of them many iterations back, I can tell you the S7 Edge is not in any way a good example of any modern Samsung phone.

I understand that entirely. Last year I wanted to check them out again and bought the S22 Ultra in March when it first came out. Had a similar experience to the S7 Edge. Returned it within the 2-week return window, as I could not see myself putting that phone in my pocket for the next 2 years.

Can't pick out a single phone because I've owned many that are north of a grand but i guess i could say all the foldables including z fold, z fold 3, z fold 4, vivo x fold, oppo find n, royole flexpai and Microsoft surface duo. No regrets on any of them.

Fair enough. No one manufacturer is good for everyone. Hope you find a phone you like.

Just want to start off saying no phone is worth $1000. Even with this extreme inflation going on. My best purchases were the OnePlus 3T, S20 FE, and soon to be Pixel 7a hopefully.

Sony Ericsson P900. $800 back in 2003 was pretty crazy. I loved the hardware, but Symbian OS was not so pleasant on it

I hope you mean Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows Mobile 10 and not the PC version. Please tell me you're not one of those who think it's a good idea to run Windows on a display smaller than 10". I barely use my Surface Go 2 because of this. The only time Windows was good on a touchscreen-only tablet was when Windows 8 and later 8.1 came out. I miss the Charms and the Live Tiles but of course, the lily-livered haters had to have their Start button or they would burn their Starbucks Rewards cards in Redmond.

Just for gits and shiggles, I'd love to see someone port iOS onto a Duo. Oh the humanity!

100% agree. Full Windows OS on a small device always gets floated around by some people like it’s a good idea on the tech sites, but it’s just not worth the hassle. Until Microsoft can rid itself of legacy UI components, it’s never going to be a good OS for small devices
