Screenshot confirms Android 5.1.1 is getting pushed out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Russia

A screenshot in Russian seems to confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910C) is in the process of being updated to Android 5.1.1 in Russia. So far, no changelist for the update has been spotted, although we should see the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements. Last month, the phablet was seen going through the AnTuTu benchmark site with Android 5.1.1 in tow.

Even if the Galaxy Note 4 is receiving Android 5.1.1 in Russia, it might be some time before the update is pushed out by carriers in the U.S. and Europe. The mobile operators will be conducting their own testing before giving the green light to the update.

The Android 5.1.1 update is the second for the Note 4, which originally launched with Android 4.4 pre-installed. Earlier this year, the model started receiving the Android 5.0 update.

Thanks for the tip!
