OnePlus teaser says that something luxurious is coming

Last month, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei revealed that a third OnePlus handset would be out before the end of this year, possibly around Christmas time. But it doesn't seem like a handset is being promoted with a teaser posted on the company's Google+ site. In fact, while the image isn't exactly clear, in the foreground of the photo we can see what appears to be a leather-type material.

On the bottom of the image are the words "A bit of welcome luxury." This could be a teaser for a leather SwapStyle rear cover for the OnePlus 2. Current SwapStyle covers for the phone feature Black Kevlar, Bamboo, Rosewood and Black Apricot, each priced at $26.99.

On the OnePlus Google+ page, the company writes that "something luxurious is coming to OnePlus. What could it be?" It looks like the answer is a leather back for those fashionistas rocking the OnePlus 2. Back in July we told you that the material could find its way to the back of OnePlus' second phone.

We would expect to hear about pricing and availability once the new SwapStyle cover is officially introduced.
