$19.99 buys the Nokia Lumia 920 at Amazon for new AT&T customers

If you have been waiting for a real low price to purchase the Nokia Lumia 920, we have some great news. Well, it's great if you are not yet an AT&T customer. New subscribers to the nation's second largest carrier can pick up the phone from Amazon Wireless for just $19.99 with a signed two-year pact. If you are an existing AT&T customer, the price balloons to $69.99, even if you are adding a new line. A signed two-year pact is still required. The current on-contract price from AT&T, for comparison, is $99.99.
The problem with getting locked up to a new two year contract now is that Nokia is rumored to be coming out with the Windows Phone 8 flavored Nokia Lumia 1000 EOS model for AT&T with a 41MP PureView camera. On the other hand, if you don't mind the handcuffs, and really want the Nokia Lumia 920 for $19.99, it might worth leaving your current carrier for the deal. That needs to be your decision. By the way, the price includes free two-day shipping.

Ok so how does this compare with the bbZ10 price cut in UK the other day? Nokia WP is a bigger flop than Z10?

I think the difference is the bbZ10 is a brand new device while the 920 has been out for several months and there is a new and better Nokia rumored to be coming out soon.

That is tempting. I don't know if I trust AT&T, though.
