Watch Siri control Spotify in the newest mod
The recent SiriProxy software creation seems to be opening the floodgates on controlling 3rd party apps with Apple's voice-recognition assistant. After we were demonstrated Siri starting your car, flipping PDF pages an iPad, or controlling the Plex media playback, along comes Spotify.

The music streaming service running on your computer can now be controlled with your voice via Siri, using the above proxy software, as demonstrated in the video below. You can say “pause,” “play the next song,” “play the previous song” and “what song is this?”, all while lounging on your couch, too lazy to get to the other room - this development would have been perfect for the Thanksgiving weekend.

If you want to try the latest Siri hack, you can grab the Spotify-related files from the source link, and have some unadulterated fun with an iPhone 4S.
