Verizon to enable LTE on TicWatch Pro 4G starting on August 8
In a surprising move, TicWatch revealed its new Pro 4G smartwatch, which will be compatible with Verizon's LTE network. Although Big Red will not sell the wearable device directly, the TicWatch Pro 4G can only be activated with Verizon LTE.

The smartwatch went on sale on Amazon, but customers can also purchase one directly from TicWatch. The catch is the cellular connectivity feature was not available at launch, as TicWatch revealed last month.

However, that's about to change as TicWatch confirmed the smartwatch will be activated with Verizon LTE on August 8. Of course, TicWatch Pro 4G LTE owners must contact Verizon to activate their smartwatch or do it via My Verizon app/website.

In case you didn't know the cheapest Verizon plan for a smartwatch costs $10 per month, but you'll probably have to pay an activation fee as well. The TicWatch Pro 4G LTE is still available for a discounted price of $280, but starting from August 8, you'll have to pay $300 for one.
