Tim Cook says pre-order sales for Apple Watch are "great"
Apple CEO Tim Cook, visiting an Apple Store in California on Friday afternoon, told financial cable channel CNBC that pre-order sales for the Apple Watch are great and that consumers' reaction to the timepiece has been "extraordinary." Cook also showed reporters his favorite model, a stainless steel Apple Watch with a white band.

The Apple Watch was available for pre-orders starting at 3:01am EDT (12:01am PDT) today. The latest device from Apple starts at $349 for the Apple Watch Sport and runs as high as $17,000 for the Rose Gold Apple Watch Edition. "Customers have been giving us great feedback and orders have been great, as well," said Apple's CEO.

The Watch sold out within hours once pre-orders were accepted. The device starts shipping on April 24th, but already there are delays with some models not expected to arrive until July-August.
