Samsung Gear S4 and Galaxy Tab S4 won't launch alongside the Galaxy Note 9 after all
Turns out those of you wanting to get your hands on the Galaxy Tab S4 or the new Gear S4 may have to wait a little bit longer according to new information.

Contradicting previous rumors of an early August release alongside the Galaxy Note 9, it now appears neither Samsung’s new tablet or its upcoming smartwatch will make an appearance at the New York event. Instead, the South Korean giant will choose to announce them at a later date, likely coinciding with IFA 2018, although this is yet to be confirmed. Nevertheless, if the brand does choose to do this, it wouldn’t be too surprising. After all, Samsung has previously used the event to unveil past Gear-branded smartwatches.

In terms of what the two products will offer, Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Tab S4 tablet is expected to make the switch over to a large 10.5-inch display that will boast reduced bezels. Because of this, the physical home button also looks set to disappear in favor of a new on-screen one. Also, on the inside, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is expected to be present along with 4GB of RAM. When it comes to the Gear S4, though, not much is known about the smartwatch other than the fact that it will once again ship with Tizen on board and boast a larger battery.

Now, on the topic of availability, Samsung’s next tablet is currently expected to be offered in both Black and Grey colors, while the Gear S4 will come in Black, Silver, and Gold. However, it’s worth pointing out that the Black Gear S4 color will be reserved for the sportier Frontier model, while the Classic offering will be available in the latter two. Also, the Gear S4 is expected to be made available in two sizes.
