While Vivo plans on unveiling its NEX line tomorrow, at the moment there aren't plans to sell the device in the U.S. Still, a television game show in China stopped random Americans wandering the streets to see if they could do the Chinese Finger Dance that has become extremely popular in the country. At the same time, these Americans got to see one of the three Vivo NEX models in action. Considering that it was feedback from consumers that gave Vivo the idea to mass-produce the Apex concept phone (which became the NEX), perhaps the response of the Americans to the phone (as seen on the video above) will motivate the manufacturer to ship it stateside.

There are three Vivo NEX models, and two are believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. The NEX A is reportedly a China-only model while the NEX is a similar variant expected to be shipped out of the country. The Vivo NEX S is the top-of-the line device that is powered by the Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. It features a 6.59-inch display with extremely thin bezels. Being the premium version of the handset, we could see as much as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage tucked inside. An under-display fingerprint scanner is said to be aboard, and keeping the lights on will be a 4000mAh battery.

The one feature on the NEX that the Americans seemed to enjoy was the pop-up camera. One thing that Americans won't enjoy is the price of the NEX S, which converts to $1,100 USD at current exchange rates.
