OnePlus 6T key specs revealed by premature retail listing
OnePlus 6T concept renders based on recent information

UPDATE: After closer inspection of the source of the information, we're confident that the listing for the OnePlus 6T is merely a placeholder (read: bogus). Keep calm and carry on.

The OnePlus 6T is currently expected to go official on October 17 and, so far, the popular Chinese brand has confirmed that its next flagship device will include an in-display fingerprint scanner. Alongside this, multiple other premium features are expected. Some of which have popped up in a new retail listing – these specs could simply be based on speculation so it's worth taking this leak with a pinch of salt.

Commencing with the display, the original OnePlus 6 ships with a 6.3-inch 19:9 panel complete with a notch up top. When it comes to the upcoming OnePlus 6T, though, a slightly larger panel that sits at 6.4-inches in size will be included. Also, a slightly higher resolution of 2340 x 1080 will be present. Moving over to the camera department, a new 25-megapixel front-facing camera is listed. Separately, the spec sheet also corroborates previous rumors of a triple-camera setup on the rear. Specifically, a main 20-megapixel sensor is set to accompany a secondary 12-megapixel one and a third ToF (Time-of-Flight) 3D sensor – the latter one should result in significantly improved low-light photography thanks to its ability to capture more light.

Taking a peek at the expected internals, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 will unsurprisingly power the smartphone and, much like the OnePlus 6, will be coupled with the choice of either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. For those who choose the former variant, OnePlus looks set to bundle in 64GB of storage once again. However, those who prefer the 8GB of RAM option will be able to purchase the flagship in two different configurations: 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable storage. Elsewhere on the spec sheet, the latest version of Oxygen OS based on Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed alongside a 3,500mAh battery pack. Lastly, it appears the base version of the smartphone will cost $569.

Alongside the specs, an alleged render of the OnePlus 6T is also included. However, this appears to be fan-made as there are a few things that are off. First off, the render of the smartphone’s front fails to include the volume rocker and the alert slider. Secondly, the silver ring that is placed around the camera module isn’t correctly aligned. However, perhaps the biggest giveaway of all is the lack of an LED flash on the rear.
