Verizon branded Nokia Lumia 1520 in white, preserved on film
Hey Verizon customers, we've got some good news for you to chew on this Friday evening. You might have thought that the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet would end up being an AT&T exclusive. After all, the Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia Lumia 1020 were all launched as exclusives for AT&T.

But a picture showing a white Nokia Lumia 1520 reveals the Verizon logo on the back of the unit. That would certainly seem to indicate that Big Red customers will get a crack at owning the first Windows Phone unit with the GDR3 update that allows for a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution on the 6 inch screen, and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under the hood. A 20MP PureView snapper is rumored to adorn the back of the phablet.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 could be a big product (no pun intended) for the Windows Phone platform. The GDR3 update brings Windows Phone specs closer to Android's numbers. In that respect, it is better for the Nokia Lumia 1520 to be made available to more U.S. operators than just AT&T and based on this picture, it sure looks like this is going to happen. The device is expected to be unveiled by Nokia on September 26th and launched in November.
