SwiftKey for Android soon to add GIF search support, new languages

0comments

SwiftKey is about to get one new feature and support for more languages on Android. The new content is already being tested in the beta channel and should be made available to a larger audience very soon.

The main highlight of the upcoming update is GIF search support. The team behind SwiftKey improved its keyboard app with GIF support, as well as new keyboard shortcuts back in June, so the next update should improve on some of the features added less than two months ago.

As the title says, SwiftKey Beta for Android has support for seven new languages like Amharic, Coptic, Dagbani, Kabyle, Neapolitan, Khoekhoe and Panglish. These will certainly be included in the final version of SwiftKey when developers decide to release it in the Google Play Store.

Last but not least, the latest beta brings a new and improved Rusyn layout, as well as enhanced Frisian language model, so whoever is using these will soon reap the benefits of these more than welcome additions.
