OnePlus 3T is exclusive to O2 in the UK, but it's horribly overpriced

If you happen to live in the UK and absolutely must own the OnePlus 3T, you are limited to just one carrier, O2. The network operator has just announced it will exclusively sell the OnePlus 3T in the UK, starting November 28.

However, customers can pre-order the OnePlus 3T from November 17, though the smartphone will go on sale only on November 28, as mentioned earlier. O2 UK even offers the most loyal OnePlus fans the option to grab the 3T slightly earlier.

If you are one of those ardent fans, you can attend O2 and OnePlus' exclusive pop-up event at the carrier's 134 Oxford Street London store from 3:02pm on November 24.

The OnePlus 3T will be available at O2 UK in both variants: 64GB and 128GB. The 64GB model will cost £31 per month for 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, or £42 per month for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 5GB of data.

Both tariffs require customers to pay a £9.99 upfront fee. If you don't want to commit to long-term monthly payments, you can grab the 64GB OnePlus 3T for £417.99.

On the other hand, the 128GB model will be available for £33 per month for 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, or £44 per month for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 5GB of data. Neither requires upfront payment. Customers who wish to buy the 128GB OnePlus 3T for its retail price must come up with £456.

In case you're not aware, OnePlus announced that the 3T will be available in the United States and Europe for $439 and €439, respectively. The 128GB model's retail price is set to $479/€479.

Unfortunately, in the UK, the smartphone is pretty overprice, as O2 UK sells the 64GB variant for £417.99 ($522 / €487), and the 128GB model for £456 ($570 / €532) outright.

The good news is OnePlus will also offer the 3T in the UK through its online store. The 64GB has been priced to sell for £399 ($499 / €465), while the 128GB version will be available for £439 ($549 / €511).
