Nokia Lumia 900 vs HTC Titan II: Specs comparison

Today was indeed a great day for Windows Phone fans, or at least for those across the U.S. At CES 2012, we were introduced to not one but two new, fancy, and shiny smartphones powered by Microsoft's platform, namely the HTC Titan II and the Nokia Lumia 900. And both of them are meant to run on AT&T's LTE network, which is a very important milestone for the Windows Phone platform. 

Yet still, there are quite a few hardware differences that set these two devices apart. The difference in display size is the most obvious one – while the Nokia Lumia 900 sports a 4.3-inch SuperClear AMOLED display, the front side of the HTC Titan II is occupied by a bigger, 4.7-inch Super LCD screen. Note that the resolution of both of them stands at 480 by 800 pixels, but that is due to the limitations of the Windows Phone platform.

The cameras on these two smartphones are far from similar as well. While the Nokia Lumia 900 is equipped with an 8-megapixel shooter, the HTC Titan II has a 16-megapixel camera on its back. The former boasts a f2.2 aperture and Carl Zeiss optics, while the latter brags with a backside-illuminated sensor and image stabilization. However, we know that the number of megapixels and the tech specs that get thrown along with them do not indicate how good a certain camera is, so our final judgment will be stated once we take both of these handsets for a spin.
