Nokia Lumia 625, with 4.7 inch screen, gets certified in China
It was back in May when we first told you about the Nokia Lumia 625 and its 4.7 inch screen, which would have made it the largest screened Windows Phone model. Originally, we expected the device to be part of Nokia's May 14th event, but, alas, it was not to be. On Wednesday, word came out of China that the Nokia Lumia 625 had been certified in China, with the 512MB of RAM we told you was on the phone two months ago. That should give multi-taskers more fits than a talented tailor.

While the rest of the phone's specs weren't disclosed, we can go back to the May story and tell you to expect a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor under the hood along with a 2000mAh battery and LTE connectivity. The Nokia Lumia 625 will also have the GDR2 update pre-installed. That means the phone will come with Data Sense to monitor data usage, FM radio functionality and more.

The Nokia Lumia 625 is expected to launch sometime in the next few weeks in various countries. The phone is said to be priced in the $300 to $350 USD range.
