The Nokia Lumia 920 isthe breakout star of Windows Phone 8

Are you the owner of one of those Windows Phone 8 flavored handsets that re-boots randomly, without warning? While the Redmond based tech giant won't say if this problem afflicts a particular model or all Windows Phone 8 models, Microsoft said it has discovered the reason behind the problem. While the company would not reveal what is causing the re-booting issue, it did say that an OTA update will be sent out in December to fix the problem.

Owners of the new Windows Phone 8 handsets have complained about this issue happening on both HTC and Nokia models. There have been some reports that deleting the Skype for Windows Phone 8 preview cures the problem with the re-booting, but doesn't fix another problem that the phones have been having with email syncing. Microsoft did not mention the latter problem when disclosing the December update.

Microsoft can't afford to start losing momentum, especially with the Nokia Lumia 920 showing signs of being the breakout Windows Phone 8 model.

Dear Microsoft,

I wanted so badly to love Windows 8, and for it to be a great commercial success (which is still might be). But why? Windows 7 is so great, why change so much? You're scaring me MS. I'm starting to worry about you.

Love,
A slipping fan

Why Windows 7 is so great and not Windows 8?
-Because, Still some peoples not find the way of use Windows 8... and also they have a habit to criticize the new products...

For Windows Phone 8, this fast update and care is good sign... But, the only way to stay in the competition by fill there Windows store with premium Apps and Games... I look forward to it...

Now randomly reboots, who knows whats next? the blue death screen?
I like the WP8 phone looks and feeling of the os, but I really can't trust windows, not after all the suffering I'm dealing with on my laptop.
I understand that the WP8 platform is different, but still, WP8 has to prove itself in the market.
to be honest, i'll take WP8 over ios any day, but never over Android.

Don't worry Nokia, even with the reboot bug you're better than IPhone and its iOS
