damn my contract!!! the earliest time i can upgrade is on around december!! i want this phone and throw away my "Raphael" oh, and will this phone have unlocked gps?

For EVERYONE this phone IS as UNLOCKED as Verizon will make it. (no Gimped RAM, No Locked GPS, Same Euro Specs(256 RAM Readout has a hotfix which was just applied to Euro Version to read correctly and will be also available through future hotfixes)) This for a PDA from Verizon Wireless and they are throwing everything at you this time. From Visual Voicemail to VZNav for pay services preinstalled full touch flo 3d 2.1 no compromises and not excuses. This is what its finally supposed to be and for almost the first time since I can remember its after rebate prices for 2 year contract is $150 cheaper then other carriers (though depending on plans chosen will be more expensive compared to other carrier plans.) Honestly they finally delivered a hit to the competition which personally I say I am impressed.

yeah they should have more in stock depending on where u live. remember there people waiting for omnia 2,storm 2, moto sholes and touch diamond 2.

id try to get it preordered or go day of. When the touch pro came out and diamond stores got 1 or 2 in stock if that.. def. a hard find for some reason.

The Equipment Guide is showing fulfillment only, nothing in stores initially... :( I REALLY want to play with it first before I jump back into WinMo land.

I must admit, I AM curious on this one... I currently have the Storm, and love it. I have had it for over 8 months and my upgrade is coming up soon. Hmmmm.... decisions, decisions. What to do? Wait for Storm2? Jump back into WinMo and get the latest iteration of the i760 (LOL)? Only time will tell.

I am in the same boat as you. I have the Storm, and before that I had a Windows Device and I hated the OS. I was looking at the Touch Pro 2, and yes it looks nice I must admit... I think I am still going to wait for the Storm 2. I can upgrade in December I know.

If I could get my hands on it, it might want cement it for me. I will not buy it blind. I did that with the Omnia, and that didn't last. Now, Storm 2, that I would buy blind... (Yea, bleeding edge of Technology!!)

idk on what phone to get i want the o2 but is tired of waiting. My orginal plan was to purchase the o2 around the release of the diamond 2 incase i don't like it so i can switch to the diamond 2...but i guess i might get the pro 2( somebody who want the o2 slap me out of it, give me hope to wait on it, remind me of the good things that the o2 have that the pro 2 doesn't have PLEASEEEEEEEE!!!..lol)

AMOLED screen? Completely Refined TouchWiz Interface? Larger camera with flash? Widgets for nearly everything preinstalled? Dont get me wrong TP2 is my phone of choice for a few personal reasons (I become an idiot when trying to use muscle memory for on screen key boards and TouchWiz seems..."disorganizing" to me.) All in all if it had a keyboard like the tp2 I would probably pick it up. (I know of the omnia pro but honestly thats taking a little to long to come around.)

If only they would debut the Omnia Pro, I was hoping so dearly for that phone. I hate touchscreen only phones, they're so irritating to use because if they decide to not work for you, there's no alternative. That's why I will be getting the TP2
