HTC Media Link HD promo video touts it as the couch potato dream device

Not everybody has a DLNA-capable TV, so HTC has thoughtfully provided the little box called HTC Media Link HD that hooks up to your TV HDMI port, and is ready to accept anything you stream from your phones - pics, music, even 1080p movies.
All without cables, and without having to let calories go to waste by getting up and hooking laptops, tablets, phones or other assortments via HDMI cable each time to watch stuff.
As for the price, MSRP was supposed to be around $99, but Amazon already has it in stock for $86, so you can grab it for your new HTC One X or the One S. A simple three finger swipe gesture throws your tiny smartphone screen over to the big TV. Samsung also will have a similar AllShare dongle for wireless streaming to TVs from your Galaxy S III phone.

Sign me up! Plus they never have an instruction manual for DLNA anyway for people that don't know how it works.

I like it. But at $86, I'll buy the wired adapter for $15.

the price is a bit high, but that will come down once the newness wears off. If there is no restrictions, like say Netflix streaming, that could be quite useful.

Can I safely assume this will be compatible with the Evo 4G LTE as well?
