Google Maps Navigation is worldwide available but partly functional
As you know the Google Maps Navigation service is not available for international use. Nevertheless wise guys from the rest of the world didn’t show any sign of desperation and even managed to strike one back by cracking the Google Maps Navigation beta for use outside of US borders. But their success didn’t last for too long as Google revealed their stubbornness  and blocked the hack a week ago. Fortunately that only acted as a spur to the tireless crew at xda-developers so they restored justice by cracking it open again.

If you’re willing to try the new piece of work for the creation of which  the main perpetrator is a forum member calling himself Brut.all you should follow a few simple steps. First you’ll have to uninstall the original version of Google Maps by hand and then simply mount a special “home-made” copy that will make your device functional again. The bad news is that it’s not a very crafty feature-set...

You should bear in mind that turn-by-turn navigation will be available only where the Directions service is supported. For any volunteers who are eager to try it on their Android – check out the source link below. You should hurry up though because the guys at Google are not wasting their time.
