Google Gesture Search now available for Android 1.6 and outside the U.S.
A couple of weeks ago, Google introduced its Gesture Search for Android 2.0 or higher. This app allows the phone user to scratch out a letter of the alphabet with a finger to search for content stored on the phone. Items like phone numbers, contacts and music can be found using the program. Now, Google has a broader user base for Gesture Search as it now can be run on phones using Android 1.6 or higher. It now can also be downloaded outside of the U.S. although the app still only supports letters from the English language and will not recognize others. Google Gesture Search can be downloaded from the Android Market or by using the QR code found on the source link. It's as easy to use as ABC.
