A new teaser released by BlackBerry Mobile today, indicates that the one time smartphone giant has something important to discuss with us during the annual IFA trade show in Berlin next month. The annual show runs this year from September 1st to September 6th, and for 2017 we expect to see the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the LG V30 introduced in the days leading up to the event.

The teaser sent out by BlackBerry Mobile shows a few seconds of a black background with the BlackBerry KEYone logo appearing in the foreground. Just the other day, the limited edition KEYone, dressed in black with 4GB of RAM inside, launched in India.

Based on the video, which appears to show some flowing liquids in the background, perhaps BlackBerry is going to offer a version of its surprise hit with a water resistant IP certification rating. At the very least, considering the global nature of the IFA conference, we might expect to see a global release of the limited edition black KEYone with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage.

With an outstanding physical keyboard and superb battery life led by the Snapdragon 625 chipset, the KEYone has become a surprise hit this Summer, offering smartphone aficionados something different to consider instead of the usual gang of suspects.
