Arrow Launcher gets improved search, UX tweaks, performance enhancements
The team behind Arrow Launcher has just released another version of their Android application, one that's much faster and streamlined thanks to the new changes.

If you have a smartphone that runs at least Android 4.0.3, Arrow Launcher is really worth a try. The new version, 2.4.0, brings under the hood improvements to some of the features included in the launcher, but also adds various tweaks that makes it much more fun to use.

For example, the apps home page received some UX tweaks for better usability. Also, you can now hold down on a tool to swap places. Another new functionality added in the update is the ability to hide the apps that you don't want to see through the Settings menu.

Furthermore, the Recent page now supports clipboard items and downloaded files. But the most important aspect is the improved search the developers added. With the new version of Arrow Launcher, users will be able to search for apps and people on the phone, not just on the Internet.

As mentioned earlier, a performance upgrade has been implemented as well, so long-time users should expect the launcher to be much faster. It's also worth noting that Arrow Launcher should use even less memory thanks to the latest update.

Obviously, more changes are required for Arrow Launcher to become a real contender for other Android launchers like Nova, but the developers are improving it with each update, so there's a chance it might get there in the not so distant future.
