Weather information is now displayed on the live wallpaper of Google Maps for Android

For anyone who relies a lot on Google Maps for Android, especially when they employ the live wallpaper option for the app, you'll be glad to know that an update to the popular app brings forth one nice new feature.

Version 4.5.1 of Google Maps for Android will now display weather conditions on the screen when you utilize the live wallpaper of the app. So rather than having to open up the browser or launching it directly, you'll have the convenience of seeing it instantly on your home screen.

Aside from that, the update doesn't bring anything else new to the table, but we'd imagine that there are users out there that will nonetheless appreciate it. So make sure to grab yourself the download over on the Android Market.
