That was quick - Android May security update already hitting Galaxy S7, S7 edge units on AT&T

Google released the May security update for Android on May 2, but AT&T is already pushing the important security patch to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Yes, that was a relatively quick and pleasant surprise!

We are yet to get hold of a changelog for the patch, but there's hardly anything else in tow. The May security update features over 40 patches that should help even the more paranoid Android users sleep better for now. For now.

In theory, the update should be hitting your handset shortly, but if for some unknown reasons it doesn't, you can manually check if it has been pushed to your device. To do so, head to Settings, then scroll down to "About device", then "Software update", and checking manually for it.

Di you get it already? Hit us up if you something new?
