T-Mobile rolls out January security patch for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+
T-Mobile is pushing out the January security patch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. Both of the updates are around 60 MB and come with version numbers N920TUVS4DQA2 for the Note 5, and G928TUVS4DQA1 for the S6 edge+.

Some reports claim that the update is also being rolled out for the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, but their T-Mobile support pages reveal no such info, so we can't confirm for certain.

In the meantime, we keep waiting for Samsung to release the official version of Android Nougat for its 2015 devices, but we know for a fact that T-Mobile will be upgrading the S6 family and the Note 5 to Nougat soon after.

We would also like to remind you to make sure your phone is properly charged, and connected to a strong Wi-Fi network before applying the latest security patches.
