Square Enix teases Rise of Mana – an upcoming Final fantasy-like 3D RPG for iOS and Android
Square Enix, the popular Japanese game developer, has lifted the veil on one of its upcoming mobile games – Rise of Mana. The developer launched a website and released a trailer of the game. The information about this title is scarce, however, it seems that Rise of Mana will be a free-to-play hack'n'slash role-playing game.

According to the website, Rise of Mana is based on Square Enix' World of Mana game series, but the upcoming hack'n'slash RPG looks quite similar to some Final Fantasy remakes in terms of graphics.

Square Enix has also confirmed that it's working on several other games, such as Hitman GO and Dragon Sky. These two and Rise of Mana are expected to land on both iOS and Android devices sometime this year.

Yes, Secret of Mana IS awesome. This, hovever, is NOT Secret of Mana. Do not be deceived, "toddlers with 'tude" (picture 2) should clue you into the level of quality this will have and reverence squeenix has for ANY of its past IP. Depressingly, the Square/SquareSoft we all knew and loved has long since been abandoned. Your childhood is dead... =(

Good, quality titles from a quality gaming firm destroyed by micro-transactions. I'd rather they would just sell the game for $10 or $15 and give us the full experience.
