It's all but confirmed the OnePlus 6 will feature an iPhone X-like notch: Oppo R15 teaser tells all

Everyone these days is embracing the notch as Apple unlocked the floodgates with its iPhone X. While the latter had a good reason to do that, most Android manufacturers really have no excuse aside from screaming "me too, me too!" as loud as possible.

Chinese manufacturer Oppo, which falls under the umbrella of BBK Electronics alongside OnePlus, has just released a tell-all teaser for its next devices, the Oppo R15 and R15 Plus, and guess what - these too will be sporting am iPhone X-like notch. Who would have thought the most controversial design element on an iPhone ever would enjoy such a high rate of copying from so many Android manufacturers...

Now, why are you telling you this? Judging from past experiences, Oppo and OnePlus's devices quite often share one and the same DNA and look quite alike, thus whenever Oppo releases a new flagship device, you can expect the soon-to-follow OnePlus handset to sport a super-similar design. This trend can be traced back to the very first OnePlus One, which inherited the general looks of the Oppo Find 5 with just a few small differences, and more recently with the Oppo R11 and R11s, which were a foreshadowing of the OnePlus 5 and 5T.
