Google lights up YouTube TV service in eight new US cities

Google's YouTube TV service storms up eight more US cities after it was introduced in 14 others last month. Up until now, YouTube TV was made available in 41 cities, so if Google maintains the same pace, it's likely to be enabled in 50 cities by the end of the year.

According to Google, consumers in eight new markets have now access to YouTube TV assuming they pay the $35 monthly fee. Here is where YouTube TV is available starting today: Albuquerque, Austin, Birmingham, Greenville, Norfolk, Portland, Raleigh, and Sacramento.

New customers can sign up for a one-month free trial, but a $35 fee per month is required after that. Google also offers various to those who subscribe, including the option to connect from six accounts at the same time from a single subscription.

Of course, the service is available on Android and iOS devices as well, but require users to install YouTube TV clients. It's an interesting offer coming from Google, so if you live in any of the cities where the service is accessible, then you can give it a try.
