I have had every note and s ultra up to the s24 ultra. as the ultra is no longer ultra except for the price I do not see why I need a samsung anymore. samsung used to be leading edge now they are cutting functionality and boring. I will be keeping my s24 ultra until it dies then look beyond samsung

HI IPHONE lol Samsung GILRS talk all this TRASH and now here comes the COPY.

Initially, Samsung introduced a camera island on one model, and now it has replicated the entire feature on the S26 Ultra. This move may be Samsung’s attempt to emulate Apple’s success in the past. It is possible that Samsung is experiencing a decline in sales compared to Apple and believes that replicating Apple’s features could help regain market share.

I really doubt that.. They make a lot more money by just selling phone screens themselves to apple inn particular, then making their own phones..

Hhhmmmm.... I really don't know how to feel about this whole change.. On the One hand, I love the S25U and will stick with it forever till it dies. I love the clean water drop look and the Snapdragon Elite is a beast!!! But, the new camera island is like going back in time, they're also making it even more rounder corners, and they're also reinventing the whole screen, S-Pen. (Hopefully for the better)

The positive sides is they FINALLY added Qi2 Magnets for wireless charging, the bump is for more light, faster charging, etc.

Hopefully, those add-ons make up for those trade-offs.

I'm fine with the rounded corners (as long as s26 series is still boxyish), but the ugly camera plateau that doesn't even keep the phone from wobbling on flat surfaces is a failed attempt to copy the Pixels' camera bar.

I don't think they will. No wonder Google and Motorola are increasing in sales.

Check out the Pixel 9A (what I bought) and the Pixel 10.

When discussing the iPhone 17 series, why aren't you mentioning that its design was copied from the Pixel and Xiaomi 11 Ultra? Are you sure you're being objective, or are you deliberately trying to create a certain perception?

PhoneArena is run by Apple sheep. What was your first clue?

Personally, I liked the rectangular shape of Note 10 Plus - S23 Ultra. I liked the slim and tall ratio compared to the wider S24U design. The only differences I would've made is the flat screen, remove the front camera dot from the display, make it a little bit thicker for bigger battery capacity (possibly 6000mah), and make room for more hardwares.

I'm in exactly the same boat. I will probably get rid of my S24 Ultra a bit sooner and know my next phone will be Vivo, Oppo or Xiaomi. The cameras are far superior at a much cheaper price.
