Now we find a Nexus 5 powered by Android 5.2; Sony Xperia Z2 powered by Android 420?

On Tuesday, we showed you a Geekbench benchmark test of the Nexus 5. What made it interesting was that the phone was running Android 5.1 while being put through its paces. Not that seeing Android 5.1 running a Nexus phone would be that earth shattering. After all, back in December we told you that the build could be released in February.

But now, as the clock on the wall heralds the arrival of Wednesday, another Geekbench test starring the Nexus 5 has appeared. And this time the phone is allegedly being powered by Android 5.2. Of course, Nexus handsets and tablets get first crack at new updates so it should be interesting to see when the Nexus 5 receives its next update and whether it will be Android 5.1, or Android 5.2 that comes at it OTA.

Speaking of surprising Android builds, one of our loyal readers passed along a screenshot of the Sony Xperia Z2 taking a Geekbench test with Android 420. Don't wait up for that build to arrive as it sounds like some sort of technical error. Or, as pointed out by another PhoneArena reader, it is a sophmoric joke.
