The HP Pre 3 reflects on its upcoming launch
The last time we saw the HP Pre 3, the handset was lying on a table with the QWERTY keyboard exposed, with the Verizon branding on the top left of the phone. With a launch expected sometime in the first half of the year, we would expect to hear more about the model, but so far HP has been fairly quiet about the webOS flagship model.

HP's Richard Kerris took the shot below directly from the 5MP camera that adorns the back of the HP Pre 3. If you're wondering where the reflection is coming from, it is off the head of a bass drum. And while we're sure that HP would like to bang the drum for the Pre 3, it will take much more than a picture like this to interrupt the constant attention that the Apple iPhone and Android handsets have been receiving. We would imagine that once we have a firm launch date for the device, the HP Pre 3 will get the amount of headlines that the webOS community would like to see it receive.

Reflected in this bass drum head is the upcoming HP Pre 3(L); the model is expected to launch this summer

Another phone that has the same crappy keyboard that customers don't like. WebOS is a nice, smooth OS. Put it on a slate style phone with a 4" screen with no qwerty keyboard and maybe we will see them sell more units. Until then, enjoy being in 5th place behind windows.

it is 3.7 inches... that is perfectly okay. and a lot of people buy the pre for the keyboard... although i think it would be wise of hp to release a slimer no keyboard phone as well... same size and form factor though as that is the differentiating factor of webos phones. oh and integration with hp computers wud be a wise choice

what customers don't like? yours? the size is perfect, not too big like most of the phone for games and video. and the keyboard works perfectly for one handed texting. as far as another 4" 'slate style' (as you call it) being added to the market is something that is not needed. a real phone for grown ups is.

(btw......i am an htc incredible user)

This spam crap is going to drive away those that post on this site. I enjoy the posts more then the articles, so I will go with them. Wake up Phone Arena- stop this crap.

These pop-ups aren't only a problem on computers. I often try to go on this site on my Thunderbolt and the pop-ups that I cannot close make it impossible to read an article or the posts.

Can @URC hate somewhere else
my best friend had the Palm Pre for Sprint but she traded it in for a blackberry curve for bbm

I would LOVE to see an HP Palm WebOS ontop of android. That would be amazing!

Will give HP every chance in the world to earn my dollars- really like WebOS. Like that they are offering the Pre 3 and Veer- but a 4" full touch screen option to go with those two would be nice to see.

HP is just coming to the party sooo late.... No release date on the horizon. Before too long, all of the oxygen will have been sucked out of the room.
