The time is getting closer before T-Mobile customers can finally feast upon one of the latest and greatest Windows Mobile phones ever to be released. The HTC HD2 has been on the front lines of late as we've seen numerous leaked photos of the upcoming smartphone that's expected to make one of the biggest splashes for the Windows Mobile front. If you haven't checked out T-Mobile's web site of late, then you probably didn't see the new listing of the HTC HD2 on there with the enlightening words of “coming soon” attached to it. So far everything is looking to a March 24th launch date for this powerhouse smartphone and this latest miniscule event of “coming soon” will be of little consolation for the many out there waiting anxiously for this to arrive. Fear not, as the countdown for its release is getting smaller with each passing day – but you can check out the listing if it'll cure what ails you right now.

Will a WinMo person tell me why this phone is going to be so awesome, aside from the fact that its an HTC.

The beauty of WM lies in the ability for it to be modified by the consumer easily. Anyone willing to learn the OS/registry edits will see that the OS can do pretty much anything you want out of a smartphone.

its a shame... this phone would have been so much better off with any other operating system. If this was an android phone, it would probably be the best. or even windows phone 7 series OS... I would have definitely waited till the holidays for the HD2 with Windows phone 7. (btw that is the gayest name for an operating system ever.)

Hold your breathe till "Holiday 2010" and then get ready to beta test. btw.. Windows 8 is due out in 2 yrs.
