Some official-looking spy pics of Verizon's CDM8975 were leaked today, though there's not a lot to get excited about. The CDM8975 is expected to be a new PTT device, and will sport a 1.3MP camera and 176x220 pixel display. There is no release date or price yet, but it will have a $50 rebate.

Looks like a PTT handset with the red button on the side and the speaker on the front.

Why is VZW coming out with these PTT phones. Honestly folks how many people have you seen with a VZW PTT phone.

A good few.. and why not? just cuz nextel has the ptt market doesnt mean that those cust. shouldn't have a choice. granted, its not vzw's largest customer base, but its good competition.
