Samsung showcases a new AMOLED display at MWC 2010?
Last week we told you about Samsung´s new technology that enables the company to manufacture AMOLED displays with integrated touch function. Recent information has it that said screen (also called „Super AMOLED”) will be showcased at MWC 2010 in Barcelona next week. The display measures 3.3 inches, comes with WVGA native resolution and allegedly, offers up to five times better image quality and 20% increased visibility in direct sunlight. It´s still anyone´s guess what handset the screen would be integrated into, but it´s not unlikely that we see Samsung´s first cell phone based on the company´s new operating system "bada" do the honours, because it´s expected to get introduced at the event as well.
