Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot makes its way to Verizon Wireless
At Verizon's CES 2011 press conference today, the carrier dropped quite a bomb, announcing LTE smartphones, LTE tablets and LTE mobile hotspots. What more could you want?!

So, even though it's very hard to take our eyes off the new LG Revolution, or the HTC Thunderbolt, we'll have to do it for a couple of minutes here, so that we can take a quick look at the new Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot for the nation's largest carrier.

Being able to connect up to five devices simultaneously to the Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi, so that they can take advantage of Verizon's LTE network, you should be capable of achieving download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps, while upload rates should be around 2 to 5 Mbps. Thankfully, the dual-mode device will be backwards compatibe with Big Red's 3G network.

Pricing or availability date are not yet announced for the Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, but we'll keep you posted, should more info emerge.

Wow, how innovative!! It looks exactly like the MIFi product that's been shipping since 2009. I can't believe Samsung copied another company's design and made a product....
