"Q" in Samsung Instinct Q stands for QWERTY?

This article contains unofficial information.

Just a few days ago, we asked whether or not the Android powered Samsung Instinct Q was real or not. Our source was telling us to expect a launch in November, later than our previous expectation of an October 11th release date. Now that we have a picture of what apparently is the device, we not only know that the Instinct Q exists, we also know what the letter represents. Can you take a guess? With a sliding QWERTY keyboard, this variant of the Instinct is heading to Sprint, of course, and becomes the second U.S. Android handset to feature a physical Qwerty keyboard along with the G1. While the Instinct Q will probably drop in the month when those who live Stateside give thanks, we still have a mystery in terms of pricing which will probably be cleared up in the not too distant future. Oh yes, the Q probably stands for QWERTY keyboard, but you knew that already, right?

As an employee in a sprint store it's pretty sad that i get all my information from third party sites about phone releases :( We haven't even heard anything about the q, s50, deuce, or whatever is coming out. It's like we are launching some mystery phone... that nobody except tech geeks know about. Kudos Sprint... Edit: I like the phone just wish i knew ANYTHING about the S50 that we are supposed to be launching in 2-3 weeks. /rant off

You know...thats funny you say that. Cus there was a guy on Engadget Mobile today who said, "I saw this phone and handled it at our Sprint Expert Training last tuesday. The flash from that camera does no justice to the screen, if I didn't know any better I would swear its AMOLED when I saw it, it was amazing." So apparently some people within the company know about it. I just wish Sprints marketing division wasn't so tight lipped and built up hype for these phones. I've been waiting on the edge of my seat for months for the S50, and all I have to go off is leaked info here and there about hardware, an Invisible Shield picture, and a blurry ITW shot.

My husband actually works for Sprint and they found out about this phone a week or two ago on a call with Hessi. I am really excited for this to come out, I was going to get the pre but found out about this phone and I'd rather get this. I currently have the M-800 and I like, I have no complaints! Can't wait for it to be available for employees :-(
