NFL Mobile to touch down on Verizon this Monday; Get it today!
Like two NFL teams battling for a fumble, Verizon and Sprint were trying to get the NFL for its mobile phones. Verizon wrested control from Sprint and on Monday, NFL Mobile will be available for the Motorola DROID and DEVOUR and the HTC Droid Eris. The service will provide streaming coverage of the upcoming NFL Draft, Thursday night games, NBC's Sunday night games and live audio of all NFL match-ups. Other features include video of teams in the red zone (inside the opponent's 20 yard line), stats and fantasy football capabilities. Until January 11th 2011, NFL Mobile will be a free app. On that date, you will have to reach into your wallet to continue to use it. If you can't wait until Monday to install NFL Mobile, check out the Droid-Life source link below.

Incorrect. I gave it to a friend on mine and works fine. Also works on my personal phone as well... I think maybe the person just needs to uninstall and then reinstall back on thier device and should work fine.

I just tried to use the NFL Mobile live app on my Sprint Moment and it had me install Sprint Football Live which is NFL's replacement app and I must say it is very nice, just as good as NFL Mobile Live. So, Sprint users, it looks like we still have great NFL coverage on our phones. I guess the reason Sprint gave up the contract is because the NFL wanted around $700 million for the NFL branded app. Sprint's new app is just as good and I'm sure its far less expensive for Sprint, I think it makes good business sense for them.
