Microsoft Surface Power Cover with embedded battery available for pre-order

Microsoft is now taking pre-orders for the Microsoft Surface Power Cover. Priced at $199.99, the accessory will ship starting on March 19th. The Power Cover is equipped with an embedded battery that is supposed to increase the battery life on your Microsoft Surface 2, Microsoft Surface Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 slates by as much as 70%.

In addition, the cover adds a physical QWERTY keyboard and also protects your slate. When the cover is closed, the screen is shut down to save battery life. The accessory weighs all of .55 pounds and is available in black.

Whether you need a physical QWERTY for your Surface 2, Surface Pro or Surface Pro 2, additional battery life, or protection from your butterfingers, the Microsoft Surface Power Cover can do it all. If you're interested in pre-ordering the cover, click on the sourcelink below.
