Leaked render of the LG Fantasy shows off yet another upcoming massive WP7 slate
Well, we’re getting our first look at potentially one device from LG’s camp that follows in trend to what we see nowadays, which is nothing more than employing the massive slate form factor. The leaked rendered image of the upcoming LG Fantasy, which appears to be part of LG’s fall lineup, shows a device that takes the reserved route with its design – while encompassing aspects to make it exude a premium device. Of course, it looks all nice and shiny right now, but we’ll see how it’ll all pan out in the end.
Despite getting a good sneak peek at what the device will look like, there is absolutely no mention about its specs, but as you can tell from the buttons below the display, it’ll be sporting Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 platform – with Mango more than likely on board.

Starting to wonder about waiting until October/November.... really excited for Mango. I like the basic "no frills" look here. I just had a friend pick up the LG Revolution. If that impresses me, maybe this becomes an option...

Dude...if you hate fruit so much, how come you're down with Apple?
Also, you forgot to add "ing" to the end of your name and then "Homo" after that.
You always hide in your back office at your Wamlmart Wireless "store-in-a-store" and mess around on your computer on company time?
I'm curious about all these things.

i think i need to call the people with the nice long injection and the straight jacket.
how the HELL is apple better than Android or WP7??
that is very subjective.
and p.s, i don't think Verizon, AT&T and Walmart are phone manufacturers.
i think you sucking off Steve Jobbs everyday is making you go loco mate.

Dude, att and Verizon aren't manufacturers, they're service providers! Also, Windows phone 7 is not a computer os. It was made from scratch for a phone and is one of the finest operating systems. Further more both android and Windows phone can be excellent and exquisite. Firstly, you need to get your facts straight and second, i'll bet you've never used wp7 or android. That means you have no right to judge either of them. I'm on att and I've had an android, a wp7, and an iPhone. The android killed both of them.

Guys, I saw this guy around on other posts a couple days ago...don't even bother. This guy is either deliberately being stupid or is unknowingly being stupid. Either way, it's a lost cause.

:') WP7 should keep this up, Manufacture Only "High end" phones. if it starts to do the cheap, the OS will break down and updates will be harder to manage. Sad sad mistake android and nokia did.

Excellent examples. I remember posting somewhere along the line before the first Microsoft powered devices that W7 should only do second-tier style devices, that the OS couldn't compete with Google, iPhone or the such if they went with minimum standards and tried to be high end only. LOVE the fact I was wrong on this one!! Even people who do not like the OS respect it's smoothness and lack of bugs and problems. What really paid off was the first update. There were problems, but for the most part every device got cut-and-paste, and got it without bricking phones or tons of heartache. And every legacy device getting Mango is just a treat.

Still no Front Facing Camera for WP7.
My Nokia N93 from 2006 had a forward facing camera.
What a joke...

Who the heck uses a front facing camera? I don't, no one I know doesn't. And they're all VGA, absolute horrible quality! Why do you want that?

With the Skype purchase by Microsoft, you can bet that front facing cameras will be the norm on W7 phones this fall/winter. I actually think they are fairly over rated, and don't even consider them when I look at phones. But most devices have them and it is silly to not include them and lose customers over something like that.

This is a render, they don't necessarily show the front cam on them. Seen a couple before that didn't when they actually did. I can't say this one will, but I would wait for specs before making claims.

The new Nokia Sea Ray has a front facing camera. Saw it in the video.

@myclevername...I didn't see a front facing camera on the Sea Ray in that video that was leaked earlier this week. I have a N8, and looking at the ffc on it, as well as on other Nokia devices, including the N9, there is no ffc. The 'circle' at the top of the device is the proximity sensor (it's in the same position on the N9). Unless the ffc is at the bottom (like on the N9) below the capacitative buttons, no ffc for the Sea Ray.
Honestly, I hope that I am wrong about it, but I just didn't see the ffc. Hopefully, it won't be a deal breaker for those wanting the Nokia Sea Ray. I still think that it will sell well.
