HTC EVO Shift 4G now available for pre-order at Best Buy

The HTC EVO Shift 4G has been rolling in the rumor mill until it was officially announced by Sprint yesterday, and now the phone is available for pre-order on Best Buy Mobile's website. The smaller sibling of Sprint's original HTC EVO is offered for $149.99 with a new 2-year agreement with the carrier. Good news is that the EVO Shift 4G will be available for shipping on January 7th, which matches previous reports.

The full QWERTY handset runs on Android 2.2 and is expected to show in its full glory soon at CES, so stay tuned for a hands-on review of the smartphone. The device can run on both 3G and 4G networks and has a 3.6 inch WVGA screen. Retail price of the phone is set at $549.99.
