Gigabyte GSmart Rola sports two SIM cards and Android 2.2
Dual-SIM devices used to be feature phones for niche markets in Asia, but the Gigabyte GSmart Rola is determined to change that notion. If they were serious, they should have avoided resistive touchscreens, but that's exactly what went into the phone.

As a smartphone, the device is rather low-end - a 3.2 inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen, 3.2MP camera, a 528MHz processor and 512MB ROM. All connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio are onboard, but as these dual-SIM phones go, 3G will be supported on only one card at a time.

Gigabyte lost us at "resistive" here, but considering the $230 (EUR 175) price, it will surely find takers in Europe and Asia, when it lands in Q1 2011. Moreover, people who want to carry only one phone for their two SIM cards, will have a decent smartphone option now.
