Deal alert: HTC One trade-in offer this weekend only, up to $375 toward your old phone

And just like that, HTC pumps up the volume on its trade-in offer for those that upgrade to the company’s new flagship device, the HTC One.

Just after extending the original promo, which guarantees a minimum $100 payback for your traded-in device, HTC has a special promo for this weekend only to get some wind back in its sails now that the competition is coming into the picture, now offering up to $375 back.

Who could get $375? iPhone 5 owners that show proof of purchase this weekend of their new HTC One, complete the online trade in process by 11:59PM eastern on May 5th will be eligible. Of course you have to mail in your old phone, and your payment comes in the form of a pre-loaded Visa Card. Samsung Galaxy S3 owners could get up to $210, iPhone 4S users up to $255. If you have a BlackBerry Z10 and not liking it, you could get up to $250 for yours. Lumia 920 owners could get $150.

Like many promotions, there are a few things you have to do, first thing you have to do is buy an HTC One, then you have to confirm your trade-in with HTC, and get the information to mail in your old phone. Those that work a little slow will have until June 15th to mail their old device, but you have to complete the online portion before the stroke of mid-night on Sunday.
