Cardboard prototype of a case for the Apple iPhone 6c appears; 4-inch model coming next quarter?
An image allegedly showing off a prototype case for the Apple iPhone 6c has appeared. This prototype is made of cardboard and is apparently produced to make sure everything looks good before the case goes into mass production. Production of the case is scheduled to begin shortly, with the iPhone 6c expected to be released in late October or early November. Foxconn has recently hired additional workers to handle production of the iPhone 6c, and that report claimed that the smaller-screened model would be released in November.

The Apple iPhone 6s (with a 4.7-inch screen) and the Apple iPhone 6s Plus (5.5-inch screen) are both expected to have models equipped with 32GB to as high as 128GB of native storage; the iPhone 6c will be available with 16GB of storage only, and will feature a 4-inch display.

The prototype case shows that the iPhone 6c will have the same camera and flash placement as seen on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. According to Evan Blass (you might know him as @evleaks), the iPhone 6c will be unveiled on September 9th along with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. After the unwrapping, the smaller model won't hit the market until late October or early November as we earlier mentioned.
