Best new Android, iOS and Windows Phone apps for March 2014
This is our selection of the best apps for the month. Feel free to also take a look at our picks for best Android, iOS and Windows Phone games for March 2014.

With another month behind us, it’s time to once again take a look at what new apps have arrived on the world’s largest app stores - Android’s Google Play Store, the Apple App Store and the Windows Phone Marketplace. Out of all the new arrivals, we cherry-pick just the best new apps for each of the three platforms, and this time around there was no shortage of great apps.

We begin with a collection of the top new Android apps, where you’d find a brand new browser that quickly became one of our favorites - we’re speaking about the Javelin Browser, with its built-in ad-blocker and innovative controls. For those of you who own an iPhone or an iPad, there are plentiful great new arrivals on the market as well: Microsoft Office for iPad was clearly the biggest recent launch, but we also love the experience from apps like Fantastical 2, a calendar app for the iPad. Windows Phone, the third platform, is still far behind the big two in terms of number of applications, but it keeps on catching up, and most recently, it's gotten official apps from popular services like 9GAG and eHarmony.

That's just a taste of what you'll be seeing right below, so - with no further ado - take a look at the best new Android, iOS and Windows Phone apps, and feel free to share your favorites in the comments section, of course.

Can you please include BlackBerry too? I'm contemplating trying it out, and would like to know about its apps too.

You can use Android apps on the new Blackberry's now, as well as Blackberry apps, and html5 web apps run on Blackberry as well.
Lots to choose from.

So, Android Apps are BlackBerry apps? How is the google id on the play store handled?
What about performance, if its some sort of emulation.

Sorry, no plans to cover BlackBerry apps in this post. As sgodsell says, though, you can side-load plenty of Android apps on a 'Berry.

All these apps regardless of platform are basically using Metro UI design principles.

Try free app 'Photo Splash FX Lite'. I bet you will not find such features of the photography app for free.

Try out this new app for movie lovers called Run Late Pee on the Apple store.
It tells you what happens during the first 20 minutes of the movie if you are running late and also tells you when to go for Pee time breaks and what happens during that time so you don't miss any pat of a movie.
