Great news coming to Vodafone UK and Germany customers as the wireless operator announced the availability of carrier billing with Android Market purchases.

That surely sounds awesome for many people who are less willing to provide things like credit cards for app purchases. From the start, the service is going to be offered to customers who bought their device through Vodafone’s online or retail stores. So if you happen to be sporting an unlocked model of some sort, you’re going to be excluded from this new service and might have to wait some time before seeing it.
